yes, you definitely have your own voice. Sometimes it can be quite profound, in and of it's own right .. other times, it can be very brittle, closed, arrogant and even .. jealous ... I don’t see it. Funny how our perceptions can convert outwardly.Anyway, will back out now as don’t want it to be seen as I’m sticking up for anyone. I just don’t experience Figgles in the same way and we exchange messages daily now. Yes all manner of perception is like this ... we're all incredibly unique filters, none exactly the same as another.

Which is absolute fine. What/who am I jealous of? Seems to me you can't let go of reefs and zd shutting down the dialog. The fury with which you drag their stuff over here really borders on cliche. Now, I apologize in advance for the appearance of a double-bind, but seriously, if you keep typing what you're typing now you're just proving the assertion. I get how it might look like that...& I'm fine with you or other thinking that. As I've said in the past, the best, most enjoyable conversations about Nonduality/Truth, happen when you have folks that are seeing similarly enough so as to be in the same ball-park, but also, differently enough that there is a falsity to point out and away from.

Happy is when you feel happy and unhappy is when you feel unhappy. The story content doesn't matter, it differ for you and to the sadist. Can you please describe the feeling of "happy"...? How about the feeling of "unhappy"? What are the characteristics of each and how do they differ? Do those feelings have certain thoughts/ideas wrapped up in them...if so, what are they? Don't know what to say when you ask me what is happiness.

It's hard to concretely define....hard to put into words because even before SR, feelings in any given moment are not always black and white like that...they don't necessarily fall into hard categorization of happy vs. not happy....but in SR, feelings are even more of a mix, and that's because of the abiding absence of an SVP, which makes for a generally pervading sense of okayness, in even the face of something appearing that is disliked/unwanted/not intended.

Now, I apologize in advance for the appearance of a double-bind, but seriously, if you keep typing what you're typing now you're just proving the assertion. I always wonder why she is doing it. Plain and simply, I love writing about/talking about/pointing to Truth....the more subtle and nuanced it gets, for me...the more advanced the level/depth of the pointing, the better. You will rarely see me responding to posts of those who are at a very beginners level. I much prefer addressing the more subtle delusions of the more advanced spiritual seeker. ZD and Reefs are well into all this. They have a good solid grasp on conceptual Nonduality, but in my estimation, they are not actually awake TO the dream, merely awake IN the dream. In that though, they provide perfect fodder for pointing beyond the dream. I admit I do have a bit of fun lightly poking at times as I comment, and feel no need to hold back in that considering the ground-rules they themselves set back on ST for our mode of interaction, but all that really does take a back-seat to my interest in and love for these discussions. While I absolutely love writing about/pointing to Truth, absent something to point away from (delusion, in it's myriad of forms) there's just not much to say about the Truth. But for the presence of delusion, there is nothing to point to....nothing to wake up to.

I believe that your question & gopal's answer point both to the problem and to the solution: decide what you want, want it, expect it confidently. If you don't know what makes you happy, who's to know?
