Any teacher....book....writing/talk that is upheld as respresentative of Advaita:
Satchi: "Everything that is said in Advaita is based on direct experience and that knowledge is transmitted via language to others so that they may find out for themselves.
Your writing/responses here lack clarity...you are often careless, both in your reading comprehension and in your responses and I think that's because of the overlay of egoic frustration and anger you are carting around with you as you engage here.
As do those who read the words of Shankara.
Yes, of course.
You are an outside source telling me to go within. Advaita is an outside source telling me to go within. Why is there a problem for you with one and not the other? Maybe you need to find out what Advaita is saying first.
Again, your response indicates that you did not comprehend what I wrote/said.
I did not say there was "a problem" with outside advice to go within, I said there is NO NEED for an outside source to tell one who is sincerely interested, to 'go within.'
Again, if you'd just try slowing down a little as you read and respond here, there wouldn't be so much of this rampant miscommunication that continually happens in our discussions. You are far more intent on proving me wrong than you are in actually having a back and forth discussion, and that clearly shows.
Merely looking at/seeing the ego where/when it is rising up is usually enough to quell it somewhat. I highly recommend that. See, I have no 'problem' with the idea of an outside source recommendation...but I stand by my original assertion that it's not 'necessary/needed,' where there is sincere interest in clarity...in going within.
