When a child perceives Gopal, will it identifies anything with itself? No,right? It's a pure perception! It knows it is pure perception. What it percieves as Gopal is the perception of its very own senses. The image of Gopal appears in the baby. Not really.

You have a sense of yourself right? So when you perceive Gopal you have automatically identified yourself by perceiving Gopal . You have an automatic / immediate thought about what Gopal is or isn't in reflection of yourself . Your own self identification is automatic . Identification can change throughout your lifetime, but the reflection had that is through perceiving this world is automatic . i.e. you don't have to sit there and try and work it out . In a blink of an eye you see a flash of lightning .. You have identified it automatically based upon your own self reflection . I have been speaking of perceiving this world, not about existence itself . When a child perceives Gopal, will it identifies anything with itself? No,right? It's a pure perception! A child? Whats that relate to a second or two after physical birth, and hour or two? a day or two? Supposedly by the end of the first month, a baby can make eye contact and focus on objects about 12 inches away. So if you wanna speak about pure perception, it could just rather be pure speculation lol . The baby is aware that it is associated to the mind-body the moment it has a feeling of it . That is a form of identification through association .. There is no pure perception of the mind-body without relations had in regards to who/m is perceiving . It's automatic .

When you perceive this world you perceive what is presented in reflection of yourself . This is automatic . You know what you are in reflection of knowing what you are perceiving . If you don't know what you are perceiving then it will be in reflection of what you know in relation to yourself . You don't have to create an identity in order to perceive. Perceving happens. Perceiving happens I agree . Whatcha perceiving then?

I can say I have a personal identity of Enigma, and an impersonal identity, but I don't need any of that in order to perceive, and neither do you. Identification is a habit, and sometimes a practicality, and it can seem as though perception can't happen without it, but it's not so. Whatcha perceiving then? As soon as you locate something in your line of perception, you automatically relate that something in reflection of what you relate yourself to being . Have you ever been aware of looking at a tree not being aware that it is a tree your aware of looking at .

So when your identifying the perceiving of your senses as your senses your not perceiving the tree within identification as being a tree? Is dat what your saying? Seems like shifting attention is just placing identification somewhere else . Not gonna self identify the tree, just gonna home in on my own sense of self identification instead lol

Not gonna self identify the tree, just gonna home in on my own sense of self identification instead lol I can see a tree quite clearly in everyday life. We have a lot of them here. But I relate with them more as another aspect of 'aliveness.' They have a lot of responsibility within the framework of aliveness. I breathe in their by-product. Air. So, to me they're so much more than just a tree. There's quite a degree of reverence for our trees. I pay attention to the senses quite a bit when going about my day to day. Prior to re-landscaping the yard, I relied heavily on seeing the finished outcome in the mind's eye, and working back from there. Then writing down what was needed to make it happen. I rely very heavily on senses when playing a round of golf, and interacting with people, too. If I have an important decision to make, I ask the body how it feels about it. Then I pay attention. Nutzo, right?

His very own senses, what else? No one has ever perceived or experienced anything outside of themselves. Although the majority of people believe they are. So he is looking at the tree, perceiving his own senses? He is perceiving the 'sense' of seeing. The light falls on the tree and is reflected in the eye as an upside down image, which gets converted to electrochemical signals....blah, blah, blah. You never perceive reality directly, you only see what is in you. Likewise that is why some say that the world is 'in' you. Because it is.
