You'd hafta put that one on closeout before I'd reach for my wallet. I'm just messing with him. He's in a spirituality forum and he keeps saying waking up is BS. Maybe he also belongs to an astronomy forum and maintains the earth is flat. All I know is that he seems to be on a mission and that he hates being talked about behind his back.

Ah, so just as I figured....the Jed of the forums is not the author of the books after all, as Tano seems to think. From the Wisefool Press Website: www.wisefoolpress.com/

This one still is up and running, although through reading various online discussions and some of what Tano has said as well, it sounds as though a bunch of threads have been deleted recently. But there was another forum that was linked up with that one, that has apparently recently been defunked.

I kept saying it didn't smell right but nobody was disavowing it. No great loss in any event as I see it.

Ah, interesting...I used to read that one once & awhile myself, but never participated....but yeah, to me too, bad smell.

Indeed. A lesson in not getting too attached to beliefs, gurus (either real or false), and time investment. For Tano, no doubt, kind of a difficult journey; first idolizing the Jed of the books, then believing she found him in the flesh, hanging on that guys every word, and then while still believing that dude to be Jed, arriving at the profound place of disillusionment she's now at, with regards to the kind/quality of person he is, arriving at the place where she feels the need to 'out him,' (whether it is to protect others, to spite him, who knows....?) only to later have it revealed, she's invested her time and trust, (and even now, her outrage) in an imposter.

Yes, obviously she doesn't want other starry eyed devotees to make the same mistakes. But since I only know myself I'm safe. Hehe

And the Jed character agreed with most of what I said, which was a bit disconcerting. Even moreso in retrospect.
