Anyone remember Tano from ST? And how steadfastly certain she was that the dude she'd tracked down and found in SE Asia was THE Jed McKenna/author of the books...? I was quite certain myself, and argued the point with Tano quite vehemently, that the forum Jed was not in fact the book Jed....a fact she has now clearly accepted.
It's interesting on her new forum, as far as I can see with limited reading anyway, she barely mentions the fact that even after tracking down McMordie, meeting him, for quite some time, she continued to stand firm in her belief he was Mckenna, the author, and does not allude at all to how arrogantly, stubbornly, she refused to even entertain sound arguments that refuted her belief. She clearly had a lot invested in that belief that she'd found the 'real guru/author.'

I find it interesting how she's turned what was originally an extreme beguilement, infatuation, resulting in overtly stalking what she mistakingly believed to be a spiritual guru/author (to the point where she found the need to seek him out in the flesh--thereby travelling half across the world in search of him)into her now...website/platform.

I meant hypothetically, yes. No one knows if the money goes to the same place. But like yourself, I see that the Forum and it's money making activites would be shut down, if it were not the same person behind Wisefool Press and the Forum. The man of the books and the Forum man - are the same - a sharp sense of priorities and no pushover attitude. The book Jed would not allow anyone to partake in his earnings. And the Forum Jed does not allow anyone to encrouch on his territory.
When I talk to Jed - he is as sharp as a pin, and as flexible as a blade of grass. His mind is that of The darnedest. That - I am sure of. The FLAVOUR of him... the flavour tastes the same.
I tend to trust my instincts, and over two years of weekly contact gave me a good sense of the man.

Tano: I never skyped with Jed, we only exchange e-mails. His skype activities are reserved only for those who seek, I wasn't, and he wouldn't take me on even if I wanted. I didn't want.
He declined money that I offered him for his books, since I stole (torrented) all of them. Said he doesn't need money or such, and my country moving costs need addressing.
He never explicitely explained it, but he would like to build a what he calls a study centre or ashram -- a physical one. He was looking to buy land for it.
He only has one Forum in operation now.
