Most people think that the waking state is an objective, physical reality. The lucid dreamer's here on the forum, Jung, and Freud are all onto something when they suggest points of potential insight between the waking/dreaming states. It's similar to how we can look at a tree and notice that it's really just an extension of the Earth. How the club, as it hits the ball, is an extension of your body.
These insights can suggest that the assumption of an objective reality is false, but as figs likes to point out, it doesn't tell you anything that's ultimately "Truthy". This is because there's no putting infinity in a box. Talking about an "infinite state", is talking shit. It's true enough that you are timeless, though. By your logic if infinite is shit then so is timeless oh great cherry picker of spiritual terminology. Nah, I wrote no such thing. "Infinite state" is an oxymoron, that's all. If someone used the term to explain a personal experience, like say, nirvikalpa samadhi, I'd understand it. But that wasn't the case here.

I was wondering how long it would take for you to get butt hurt... Got to give you credit though, you lasted longer than your mentor Muttley... Cheers Really? Butthurt? In your dreams. I sense most folks here understood what you were up to before you even realized what you had gotten yourself into. I mean, really... what did you accomplish? Walking around for a week with your superficial glossary of terminology at the ready. What a dork! Even the stoics knew: "what other people think of me is none of my business".

"Talking about an "infinite state", is talking shit." You then pretended you didn't say that by changing it to say: I wrote no such thing. "Infinite state" is an oxymoron, that's all. It's really tiresome when you even dispute what you yourself wrote.

"state for Infinite Consciousness", as it was used here, was an intellect expressing an oxymoron.
Do you think that telling someone that they are timeless has anything to do with logic? Really?

Yeah, but for how long? It can't be determined philosophically, that's for sure. I'm just taking a walk around the lake. Hearing sounds, feeling movement, smelling smells, tasting cool airs on the tongue, touching the face of something I can't really know. No apologies. I was just being silly, as usual.

'Infinite state' implies a mind state.

'Infinite state' implies a mind state. The minds projection of the Spiritual Concept of an 'Infinite state', is 'appearing' in the Infinite... Limitlessness is an absence of any such boundary that can define the dichotomy of inner/outer. There is no "Infinite" in the way you're conceiving it. " Within the Infinite" is a mind-created delusion.

Of course...but what is it that's Aware of "Within the Infinite" is a mind-created delusion"? Is it a mind-created delusion? In other words are you in front of the lens of perception or are you behind it? Or are you both?
