So humanity and the world is falling into annihilation, but I'm grateful that I'm alive?? The only problem is that seeking gratification, isn't the same as seeking happiness... Hehe Adios Sounds pretty much the same to me. Yup......if seeking is the case, I'd say what's being sought is pretty much always the same...and gratification/conditional happiness pretty much sum up what one is after.

"The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation But your thoughts about it." Ekhart Tolle This is the biggest mistake ever, Ekhart doesn't understand the truth of thought and the situation which triggers those thoughts are same movement of universe.

Seeking happens when we starts to analyse why this happened, So we try to find some solution and try to act accordingly next time, but the truth is, seeking and finding solution is strongly interconnected, one defines the another, When seeking happens, you would feel like something is clearly missing, soon you would be entering into finding mode where your answers are appearing without effort.

Ekhart Tolle This is the biggest mistake ever, Ekhart doesn't understand the truth of thought and the situation which triggers those thoughts are same movement of universe. Two men both experience an irate driver who cuts them off. One swears at the irate driver and flies into a rage, muttering to himself how about how stupid some people can be, while the other just shrugs and lets it go and continues driving peacefully. Same situation, but entirely different thoughts and thus, emotional response to it.

What do you mean by that? That seeking happiness, seeking gratification are pretty much the same. I agree, one seeks when one deems something of importance to be missing. But in the case of seeking happiness, it's not going to be found by seeking some-thing that lies beyond this present moment. What one is after is the unconditional joy of Being, and one does not actually have to go anywhere or find something 'out there,' to discover it....to BE it.

“You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere. You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection.”
