If it seems that your person-hood has disappeared, but now all you can see is the person-hood of others, and you feel compelled to mock that, you are kidding yourself. Your person-hood is alive and well. It is evidenced in your judgement of the person-hood you see in others.

"It is not that you must be free from fear. The moment you try to free yourself from fear, you create a resistance against fear. Resistance in any form doesn't end fear. What is needed rather than running away or controlling or suppressing or any other resistance is understanding fear; that means watch it; learn about it; come directly into contact with it."
J. Krishnamurti

People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth. Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don't even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child -- our own two eyes. All is a miracle.” ― Thich Nhat Hanh

"Therefore, the technique of making all actions joyful is to bring joy to the mind. Fill the mind with that great happiness which knows no end, let the mind be saturated with absolute bliss and then the undertaking of any action, whatever it may be, will be performed in all joyfulness." - Maharishi Mahesh Yogi

Repeating someone's post is what I mean by subjugating ones thinking to an others authority: Enigmas. It's why we seek out folks through religion, philosophy, politics and spirituality to lead us, so that we don't have to do the important work of thinking for our self.

So this thread, and any quote, is about subjugation to authority? You might want to rethink that one.
