Oh sorry, but 'pause' is not available in your area? Speaking of area.. what town is near you? (I like looking at places in the Wander app on the VR goggles) (And anyone else here as well, if you feel like it.. ) I was watching it with family.... they don't like hitting pause, just coz I've got ever-so-important messages to write It's fine, really. Look for Thornhill, in Dumfries and Galloway, it's my local town where I can get a few groceries, it's pretty small, but nice, won't take long to look round!

If you don't like what's going on that means you identify with what's going on. I 'take myself to be' what's going on? That makes no sense. In Truth-talk, the term "identification/identify" is used to denote mis-taking yourself to be some-thing/some-one limited/bound. Thus, it's an odd thing to suggest that worldly happenings would be identified with. A body/mind and the senses, thoughts/feelings that arise hand in hand with that, is generally the 'some-thing' that more often than not, is erroneously "identified with." Sure, whatever arises is, fundamentally perfect.

There's 2 people that I know, that....for a long time....didn't have the vaccine. And then they did. I've noted a change in their attitude since then....one of them in particular, I was quite shocked by the change....actually supporting vaccine passes. This is when you realize that herd instinct is much more powerful than herd immunity. Good one!

And for me too. And why wouldn't it? We are also individuals. Are you interested in all stories? For me, much neurosis and self judgment anf judgment of others disappeared yet I am judging this unfolding. ‘Love all of the dream or none of it, you’re issue is, you only love some..’ (paraphrasing Niz) I take that reference of 'love' to be more of a fundamental acceptance/allowance, seeing of the 'ultimate' perfection of the dream in it's entirely kind of thing, vs. an assertion of the end of all personal values, dislikes/judgment regarding what appears. The idea that all personal opinions/values/preferences about life, ends in SR, just doesn't seem accurate to me. I suppose it's possible, but that sounds to me like a very 'sterile' experience. In some of Jed McKenna's writings, he made it sound as though that was kind of the case for the Jed character...not sure if that was just hyperbole or not.

I suppose the question then is ‘who is judging?’ ‘Who has a problem with it?’ There’s no way out🤪. Enlightenment- travelling lighter.. that’s all I guess. It's when you discover you are not looking for a way out because you are quite happy being the one who is judging or doing or thinking. Realizing that there ultimately is no judge, doer, thinker, is different than denying or trying to ignore the judge/doer/thinker, because you're not happy being that.

Mmm yes I know there is resistance when we perceive the ‘judger’ as a problem but judgment that comes up and abides quickly and naturally is different to a constant daily judgment (i.e of the unfolding story). When there is an expansion of awareness then what appears in mind does not leave impressions. Thoughts become like water off a duck's back. Mental activity becomes much more quiescent. But the individual is still there engaged in the world. I keep saying it's not the personal individual that's the problem it's the lack of knowing the fundamental essence of what we are which is awareness and when one becomes established in awareness then everything else just takes care of itself. We don't need to analyze thinking. We don't need to analyze the personal and impose concepts on it about it's nature. Because what is natural takes care of itself. That is well put, but what you are describing, ultimately hinges upon a seeing through/absence, not so much an 'expansion of awareness' (although I'm not gonna go to war over that one) but a shift in where seeing is happening from.

yeah, I think that's basically it. I asked him directly, he said he stopped paying interest a long ago whrn he realised there was too much suffering. Again, that’s my point, I guess. There are always things going on ‘out there’ and always will be. That's interesting. Keep in mind, 'too much suffering' IS a personal judgment...quite a deep one at that. But I do understand how one may consciously stay away from that which he regards in that way. And the fact that his simple intent to 'not go there' wins out, is evidence that he's not conflicted about it.

Then it's just as well I didn't say that! You have invented denying and ignoring. But if you accept that there could be such as thing as denying and ignoring then it is obviously your experience that you are a doer.

The word ultimately is a conceptual device to give credence to your belief that non doership is some kind of Reality or Truth for you.

It's actually quite a common tactic for seekers....that which is judged to be bad/wrong, they often try to deny or ignore. Still doesn't mean there's an actual "doer" involved. Everything is just happening, absent a someone/something that is making it happen.
