It is not a belief. It is my experience that there is an outer world. Experience cannot be relied upon to tell you the absolute Truth of things. What is absolute truth? You cannot tell me.

Everything is appearing in consciousness that includes the moutain, light and no light. So your direct experience is only the inner world. Don't say you experience an outer world, that's false. When I take a photo of the mountain it is appearing on the screen of my phone. Does that mean there is no real mountain? I know more about the mountain than you do about consciousness. What is this consciousness that the mountain is appearing in?. Who told you there is such a thing as consciousness. I can see the mountain. Where is the consciousness? You will not be able to see both the mountain and the consciousness within which it arises/appears, from within the dreamscape. But transcend the dreamscape...see prior to/beyond the dreamscape, and it becomes crystal clear that consciousness is the foundation and the mountain is but a temporal, ephemeral arising appearance, within/to, dependent upon it.

I'm not interested in this conversation. Sorry. I see the mountain. That's enough for me. I have no more interest beyond the simple experience of seeing the mountain. Ah, but you are ALSO positing a me/thing/what/something/someone/entity, THAT sees the mountain. And that's entity is imagined only...it's a delusion. Yes, if/when a mountain appears, a mountain IS appearing, but you are imagining all sorts of extraneous stuff (delusion) in tandem with that appearance. Okay so you have admitted that the mountain is appearing. That's all I'm saying.

Experience cannot be relied upon to tell you the absolute Truth of things. What is absolute truth? You cannot tell me. It can only be non-conceptually realized. The words used to try to tell you about it, can only ever be pointers, as the non-conceptual Truth, ultimately, defies words.

There is abinding ground and there is also a mountain. You know what a mountain is but you don't know what consciousness is.

Where the heck did I say that consciousness as the foundation contradicts the appearance of a mountain? I never said that. That would be a ridiculous statement to make. If/when a mountain appears, there IS a mountain appearing. Why would there ever be a need to argue against that?
