not really, I just lobbed that out there.. and then see what happens and for another reason I'm sure I'd never say Oooookay..  From where I sit it appears that you waffle wildly between wanting very much to talk about it in one moment, to kind of stick it a bit to those who aren't lining up to get vaxxed and such, and then in the next moment, you back away, claiming you're able to just shrug it all off.... not all that interested in any of it after all. Yup. One of my first thoughts when I heard the gov. would be paying folks to stay home...and how all businesses would have to spend money re-vamping with plastic partitions, arrows, signs, etc, etc, ....all the money spent on masks and all other craziness, was; imagine if all the money spent on that crap had been funnelled directly to the neediest and poorest/hungriest...the fact that gov. could just hand out money like that so freely, most certainly alerted me to the fact that all along, countries DID have enough funds to make sure no one ever goes hungry or without shelter. but they don't 'have the money'.. they have to first pass legislation which authorizes however much money they need then the treasury department sells bonds to raise it.. something Joe Manchin would agree to whatever it was.. Yes. And...Surely if old/sick people dying of a virus is a travesty worth passing such, children/young people, entire families dying of hunger would also be deemed worthy? |
