If you're tired of it then stop making self righteous comments like "Maybe finding humor in condescending belligerence isn't really a good thing either," because I was tickled by ishi's comment dismissing you. You take yourself far too seriously. Moderate your arrogance and all will be well. It's a gentle comment, politely stated, and not an unreasonable perspective. I don't know where you find arrogance and self righteousness. Well, actually, I do, but it would sound terribly arrogant and self righteous to say it. I don't even know what I said to Ishi to set him off. That's how seriously I take myself. Maybe it's others who are taking me too seriously. Said it very well Enigma! |

Let us assume you are right, If it is so then I must be wanting the same in my dream as well, right? Why it is not the case? Why can I defy the gravity in my nighty dream? There's a deep cultural meme centered around flying like a bird, Superman, the freedom of flight, and such, so lots of peeps have dreams of flying. If someone has a dream about gravity randomly coming and going and changing, it would usually be called a nightmare. Flapping your arms and flying is freedom. Trees uprooting and buildings flopping over is terror. Your answer is not answering anything! Gravity is not arising our of our desire or belief. That's the way consciousness moves. God is not creating from the present moment because human birth and death is predestined to happen! |

I didn't say that. I said it's that way because we want it that way. That's what I am saying you are saying. It's that way not because you want it that way. It's that way because that is how Life works, not because one of it's manifestations wants it that way. It's tantamount to saying it's the way it is because amoeba want it that way. It's Enigmas conceptual folly when philosophy gets weird.  |
