Thought this could be a great thread.
I’n struggling to choose just one so my top few: Presence Awareness - Sailor Bob The Secret - Rhonda Byrne (I know I know but it was integral in my journey) The power of the subconscious mind - Joseph Murray Becoming supernatural - Dr Dispenza (not sure I ever did)
Mmm probably many more

Thought this could be a great thread. I’n struggling to choose just one so my top few: Presence Awareness - Sailor Bob The Secret - Rhonda Byrne (I know I know but it was integral in my journey) The power of the subconscious mind - Joseph Murray Becoming supernatural - Dr Dispenza (not sure I ever did) Mmm probably many more If that's the measuring bar, then I'd also list "the power of the subconscious mind - Joseph Murphy....as well as "Seth Speaks," and another book about a supposed disembodied "channel," "Messages from Michael,"...I came across all those in my late teens/early 20's and just couldn't get enough...was also doing some of my own channeling around that point, so it really tied in and mirrored the messages I'd been receiving....I read many of the Joseph Murphy books, just gobbling them up, and then years later, following my brother's death in 2005, I had the experience of him commanding me to buy Abraham Hick's "Ask and It Given,"...Perusing in a book-store, I'd picked it up, taken one look at the reference to "Abraham" and figured it was a biblical/Christian based book and immediately went to put it back on the shelf. My bro's voice was so insistent telling me to buy the book, that not even taking the time to investigate further, I just tucked it under my arm and headed off to the cashier. For several years after, that one was my all time fave and I recommended it highly to others. I recall being stunned that throughout the years I'd never before come across their teachings. Lynn McTaggarts books also really impacted me...the first was "The Intention Experiment,"...I loved that she was bringing Science into the whole deal to back it up...but it also around that time that I started to get niggling thought/glimpses of insight about how the ultimate Truth to existential questions such as "why things manifest as they do" etc, could not be found within experience....I recall being torn on one hand that here was "scientific evidence," but then the clarity would flash for a moment and I'd see that for what it what it was. When it comes to Nonduality/Truth, I can't say there is any one book that stands out above any other....I absolutely hated the Jed McKenna trilogy...it made me mad...he came off to me as a complete nihilistic egomaniac, but interestingly enough, I did even thinking that, go on to read all 3 of his books...so obviously something was happening there! I liken that to folks on these forums who get very frustrated and at times angry when they're told the Truth, but they keep on coming back for more. Oh yes, and I'd be remiss if I didn't include this odd little book (it was literally 2 inches by 3 inches in size) that I found lying on the sidewalk when I was a kid...(likely around 12 or so, I think..?)...the title alluded to "higher consciousness." It made very little sense to me, but again, I was intrigued and kept trying to figure out what the words meant...All I recall is something akin to this: 'In a moment of contracted consciousness...fear...a bad LSD trip, just ask yourself, what in this moment needs to be loved.' I think the whole affair, finding the tiny book, reading stuff that made no sense and then mulling that particular idea around, for years after, really was quite significant. So there! Excellent thread idea btw...thanks for creating it!

OMG...almost forgot this one....I was 24 yrs. old and had just quit my job, joined a band and was living out of suitcase, travelling Western Canada, staying in the shittiest of shittiest hotels...performing 6 nights a week and making around 60 bucks a week, having to eat and live off that!....So...to even spend money on a book at that time was something...but this one just leapt out at me and at the time, felt like it freakin' saved my life!

When I found my psych-K modality a couple of years ago, I was like… boom. Full circle!!! I now have an easy and effective way of changing subconscious beliefs and healing perceptions AND it works! Thanks for replying, I enjoyed reading!

On a separate note, is anyone seeing the number thing like crazy right now? 1.11 2.22 3.33 Spoke with one of my sisters today and as she was speaking, I kept saying, me too, me too, me too… it was like we had experience the same week! Weird Yup, entire household, including my sis who lives in Vancouver...same: 1.11, 2.22, 3.33. My son keeps catching to odometer before it turns....first one was: 111111...next, 111333, then 111444....he's even been taking pics. AT regular intervals in our household you can hear someone shouting out, 11:11, 1:11, 3:33...etc.... My sister is really into the whole "angel reading/meaning" aspect of it, so if I'm talking to her on the phone when it happens, she's always got her little book ready...apparently 1:11 means, pay close attention to current thoughts/focus, according to her book... I find those synchs and others is always a clear and instant re-direct to naturally just be aware of the moment and what's immediately on the plate, so to speak. You don't even have to try, it just happens.
