I thought it’d be cool to discuss this topic here. I never understood it or felt in tune but since realizing ‘self’, it serves me a great deal.
Can we even call it intuition? Just a label but this is what has happened here:
I got ivermectin from a GP prior to them banning it in Aus. The (awake) GP asked me why I wanted it (no covid in W.Aus by the way) and my answer ‘because they are going to pull it’ (I had no idea at that time and didn’t expect to answer in that way). A few weeks later, it was pulled.
I hung washing out last night. I went out just to pull school uniforms in, it hasn’t rained at all here and we weren’t expecting it. I left all the rest out. In the early hours it bucketed down, uniforms were dry and safe.
I bid on a lunch at a charity event and instinctively knew I’d win the bid.
Just stuff like that which is a new experience. There’s no more second guessing which arose when the personal me was in place. Obviously the mind comes in to label it ‘cool’.
With the vaccine, my intuition tells me ‘no’ it’s also telling me there are antidotes if we end up in a tricky situation.
It’s fun to notice this stuff.

I probably use "intuition" in a very well defined way, as an evolved form of perception of reality, beyond instinct, emotion, intellect. I see it being distinct from premonition, clairvoyance, synchronicity, etc..
For example, tonight watching a show on tv, one of the characters was in a shop picking a stuffed-animal for a kid. He was inclining to get some kind of orange indeterminate small animal, the woman with him was recommending a medium sized teddy-bear, while my attention was attracted by the long ears of a white bunny, and I said with loud voice: "I'd pick the elephant for his ears". The character almost immediately was shown getting out of the shop with a little blue elephant, with regular ears.
It is interesting that I voiced the correct word, while intending to say something else.
To me, that isn't intuition. But, like intuition, it is a form of tapping into subconscious.

V cool story- thanks. Am not a fan of the label but it helps us to describe something that when you are in ‘survival’ doesn’t have a chance to serve you.

You see, for me the synchronicity was that I had that unusual "elephant" experience, then I read your post about "intuition". I take such situations as messages from my inner guidance, so I went into a light trance and asked about it. The answer I got was that it was to show me that there isn't a succession like physical-perception, reasoning, physical-action, but that both physical-perception and physical-action are perceptions by my awake-conscious of events at my subconscious level. This being something that is for me to know now, a piece of the puzzle. So, you see, your opening of an "intuition" thread pointed me to a symbolic meaning that you weren't aware of, and it might point others to different symbolic meanings. If you hadn't opened this thread, I might've missed the symbolism of the "elephant" experience.
