I have to admit I'm basically a lapsed Laffy fan-girl since I read his list of his top five teachers. Here it is: "Roughly in chronological order of encounter: (1) Carl Sagan (2) The public education system of New York State (3) Amit Goswammi (4) Any musician that ever lived (5) Eckhart Tolle (6) William Shakespeare (a.k.a. Amit Goswammi I've never heard of. Eckhard Tolle I'm not so sure he's not a so called spiritual materialist who financially milks middle-class seekers (with a little help from Ophra) because that's what most psycho-therapists do also. And number seven, in my book, would read like this: Everybody I've ever encountered in my whole life, no exeption. Number four, number six and number eight I totally, completely, wholeheartedly agree on. I respect Laughters intelligence and his dedication to the forum he is a longtime member and poster of. And he can be pretty funny, in other words: He's not a bore. If we would know each other in the real world I assume we would be having a good time when hanging out together like friends do. Laughter writes many meaningful things for sure. I like many of his writings, But he doesn't walk according to what he talks. Reefs has closed all the boundary to fight with each other, so laffy is in trouble because he wants to fight with people and that's his passion. Though I hate Reefs, there are some of the things which he did is excellent, one of the things that he did was closing the Unmoderated Discussion.Yes, that whole split between mod and unmod was long overdue for a merging imo. I am actually really enjoying Reef's latest series of posts in the "Niz for Dummies" Thread over there..some really great points he's making...hehe....I'm still banned, but have found an avenue to log on to read.  (as I imagine you have as well..?...you are likely far more computer saavy than I, so of course!) |

So, I"m not really sure what I rule I broke there. I get the sense he was just angry over the forum and perhaps that I spoke about him here...? Which in light of an exchange between he and laughter where laughter asked him if posting material from a PM on another site would constitute a breach of ST forum rules, where he said 'no,' seems kinda strange. I would be curious to hear his reasoning actually on specifically why he banned me....after all the years I participated there, I don't think that's asking too much, really.  But, I won't hold my breath. |

Your content has always been of a quality worth reading, and gopal's has always appeared to be on point. So, the whole thing is rather odd. |

He might have considered promoting the site outside the marketing section might be violating the rule, I guess because he hasn't banned you when you posted on marketing section. Laffy was asking nonsense question there and to which Reefs rightly replied in my opinion because the same question of Reefs arises in my mind as well when I read Laffy's reply.
