Filmed between Ireland, the UK, South Africa and Switzerland, The Covid Chronicles is a feature length documentary charting one man's remarkable rise to prominence as a "go to" Covid commentator and deep data analyst.
As the Covid pandemic brought the world to a standstill, Ivor Cummins picked up speed in a very personal and passionate quest to unravel and translate the data into meaningful video bites for the general public.
If you've been following the rise of Covid in any detail, you have probably seen Ivor's videos referenced. If you haven't, you probably know someone who has.
I have known and worked with Ivor for several years now. We collaborated for 2 years to co-produce "Extra Time" and when I left Ireland to return to Cape Town on March 9th, it was with a spring in my step. We had finalised the details of our Irish premiere screening in May and life was good.
The following week, South Africa introduced draconian lockdown measures to combat Covid 19. As our plans for Extra Time withered and died, Ivor's commitment to understand exactly what was going on deepened, hardened and ultimately manifested itself in the production of what is arguably the most comprehensive video library analysis of the Covid 19 pandemic data anywhere.
As the weeks and months passed, we were in constant communication, recording some of our calls on a "just in case Covid got much more interesting" basis (of course it did!). Ivor's research brought him into contact with - amongst others - the 2013 Nobel Laureate, Prof Michael Levitt of Stanford University and Prof Beda Stadler, Switzerland's "Vaccine Pope".
There was a consensus of opinion emerging that the political response to the Covid pandemic was perhaps not proportional to the threat the disease carried. As I watched that movement grow with the abundance of data becoming available as time went by, it was becoming clear that Ivor's passion and performance had pushed him to the fore in a global debate with astronomical consequences for mankind.
When Ivor's video update "Viral Issue Crucial Update Sept 8th: the Science, Logic and Data Explained!" exceeded 1 million + viewers - including Anders Tegnell, Sweden's Chief scientist - within days, it was clear that his unique approach to data analysis had hit a new high.
After 10 years dedicated to researching root cause mechanisms for metabolic health and heart disease, Ivor's approach to unpacking Covid 19 was resonating with millions of viewers.
Of course, nobody is 100% right and the debates will rage on for many years - possibly decades - but Ivor's unexpected arrival as a Covid Tour de Force and his contribution to the scientific discussion around the pandemic and its political response is a story of our time.
The Covid Chronicles will chart Ivor's personal journey and the "great pandemic" of 2020 from a perspective few can ignore. If Covid is a disease of our time, then this is the movie of a time we - and future generations - must never forget.

Risks and challenges
We are an experienced international production team with multiple feature length documentaries completed on time and within budget on - and off - Kickstarter since 2012. The challenges of filming during the pandemic will certainly require creativity but we have a strategy and budget laid out to account for all possible challenges (including an absolute inability to travel!). We have used these tools to bank some excellent footage already and the framework for the movie has been laid down to meet the environment we find ourselves in. There are always risks with any project, but our track record clearly demonstrates that we can get movies made on time and within budget to meet our Kickstarter obligations. Of course we would love to exceed our funding goal to propel this movie on to greater things but we will not require additional funding beyond this campaign - guaranteed.

In other words, if someone was in the hospital dying of heart disease and they tested everyone for Covid to separate them to other rooms or wings, Covid was marked on their death certificate. A perfect example of this is a nurse Corey’s Digs recently spoke with who had four deaths at her hospital. Two were in hospice care, one died of stage four cancer, and the other died of end stage COPD, but all four were documented as having Covid, so those deaths get added to the tallies being told to the public, who are none the wiser. What does that do to the actual statistics? One of the most incredible things happening right before everyone’s eyes, is the subversion of data by the Covid Tracking Project, the CDC, Johns Hopkins, legacy news media, and numerous other sources. This is sheer tricky, and a far cry from “science.” They like to refer to this trickery as “PIC,” their new method for counting Covid deaths by lumping them in with pneumonia and influenza. Not only that, but the number of life-threatening conditions people died from, who happen to test positive for Covid, are staggering. They are basing lockdowns, restrictions, mask mandates, and crushing the economy on COVID deaths, but refuse to reflect COVID ONLY deaths. And yet, despite all of this manipulation, the fact of the matter is, the survival rate would only go up from what is already incredibly high. (Read the full article.) Ivermectin.....I ordered this online for our guinea pigs a few years ago....they appeared to have a parasitic infection. I put a few drops behind their ears...within days, their skin started clearing up. The darling guinea pigs have since passed of old age, but, Maybe I should kept the stuff!
