Any woman whom you deem to be the cause of your feelings of anger now, reverts you straight, right back to that so called, "manipulating narcissistic character" whom I'm quite sure you would characterize as a "she-devil, made by God, to be avoided." Sad as it is, I think you are carting around a whole wheelbarrow of emotional hurt, on the heels of a relationship with your child's mother, gone bad, and projecting that onto this discussion, suggesting out of the blue, that my kids are "pissed" at me. We've reached that place in the convo Where simple, direct questions I've posed, in a reasonably civil manner, are going to simply get ignored because you know that to answer them honestly and directly, would require you to admit to stuff, you're not comfy with admitting. Just in case you get a burst of sincerity out the blue; 1)What was behind your dragging my kids into the convo? Was there some reason for you to assume they were pissed at me? Do you see that as out of line at all to bring up something so personal to me, in a disparaging, groundless accusation, considering from my end, I was sticking to post content only? 2)Do you agree with or disagree that there can be Absolute, certain, realized knowing that appearing people are each, an individuated, discrete perceiving/experiencing entity? Anyone reading along care to place on bets on whether or not JLY will actually answer or if he'll stick with the program he's been on and slip & slide away from a direct answer, either by outright ignoring the questions or throwing back some snide, nasty retort? This folks is what it looks like when the egoic SVP is trying valiantly to protect and preserve itself. Why even come to a spiritual/Nonduality discussion forum bent on Truth if you're going to dodge pointed queries designed to dismantle the castle of sand the SVP is built upon? |

Yup. There I go again, attempting to reel-in a discussion about Nonduality pointers that's gone off-track into the ad-hominen bushes. Imagine such a thing, on a discussion forum that is dedicated to civil, on point, Nonduality discussion!!  Fwiw, civil, on point discussion about Nonduality pointers does not include bringing up the subject of someone's children, completely out the blue, to introduce an accusation of bad/abusive parenting into the convo. It really should not be so difficult just to stick to the content of the posts to address what you personally see to be erroneous about the point I'm making. ( which means, NOT using a chat-bot to speak for you). Have the confidence to stand firm in your own authenticity......you think my pointers are full of shit? Calmly and methodically, using your own words, your own clarity, explain to me why. I feel at least half of what I do here on this forum is demonstrating how to have a civil, direct discussion, sticking to post content, absent the need to get nasty/personal or run away from direct queries by diverting the discussion. That diverting is what Muttley did in his last post to me, it's what you are doing now and it's what ZD & Reefs do whenever someone on ST asks them a question that is too challenging to their viewpoint. |

She's posting things that seem mostly abstract to me - dealing with ideas - and you are talking about her kids, and I saw yesterday you posted her name and photo. Seems out of whack. Did I miss something? Did this woman "Figgles" behead your dog or burn your house down? Metaphorically speaking, that IS what a good pointer aims to do, and yes, often in that process of trying to point out Truth to others, they get really, really f-ing angry. JLY seems to be lashing out on ST as well....Stardustpilgrim being is his target over there...perhaps we are seeing the typical anger of an SVP in it's final throes, or perhaps there's something else going on, hard to tell for sure. On ST they had a private "political" thread, and still do, as far as I know. Laughter, JLY, Reefs, Stardustpilgrim are all members. The first three have views that don't match with Stardustpilgrim's. For example, Stardustpilgrim doesn't think "Trump really won" in 2020. So the other members gang up on Stardustpilgrim and regularly lecture him about how blind and ignorant he is, because he doesn't believe in their ego-stroking conspiracy theories. That condescension then spills over into the public forum, so other forum readers might be confused by the tone they take with Stardustpilgrim in other random messages about "spiritual" topics. |

Ah, I see. A case then of not coming empty to the Truth-talk convos, due to political differences getting carried into them. JLY's tone towards SDP seemed way over the top, so that explains it. Interestingly enough, that egoic anger that often accompanies political arguments is, I think what Reefs was trying to eliminate by banning political talk "on" public forum, but if it's simply all going on behind the scenes and affecting the spiritual-talk anyway, doesn't make make sense. Far better to at least have those convos happening out in the open, so when there is that kind of vitriol dragged into a spiritual convo, such as demonstrated by JLY, it's clear, why. I've also heard from a little birdy that there's private threads re: Gab/Figgles and agreements made to refrain from engaging over here regardless of how compelled one might feel to do so. It's like Goddamned junior high school. |
