A transcendent view of "things" is an oxymoron. They're certainly seen differently, but a thing is .. you know .. a thing. No it's not. The seeing of inherent emptiness of all 'things' happens via 'a transcendent view.' Things still appear, but the previous substance assigned to them, is seen through. There are no things!  |

Absolutely, let's look at the practical experience. I don't care much about what science thinks, cuz I've caught it with it's pants down once too often.Is there a pleasure producing drug that is not addictive or a discomfort producing drug that is?  ...that really is the perfect way to put it.  Science clearly has such exhibitionist tendencies. That's why there are so many science exhibitions.  |

Science clearly has such exhibitionist tendencies. That's why there are so many science exhibitions. Speaking of exhibitions, in Gr. 9 my girlfriend and I won 3rd place in the local science fair for our exhibit on "Witchcraft." What? Oh, wait, you didn't grow up in the U.S. did you? |

LOL...yeah.... indeed...can't even tell ya just how shocked (and delighted) we were when our Science teacher checked the rules and reported back to us that yes, indeedy do, 'Witchcraft' was a go. I think initially we'd come up with the idea on a whim and were just kinda throwing it out there for shits and giggles.  |
