Identifying is a mind activity. Mind doesn't know. Mind can't know. Identifying is my thing, not mind thing. How I identify myself to be ? A person(act and witness) or Consciousness(only able to witness) How I identify myself will create the reality accordingly. Do you still see a problem in the reality you are creating? đ

The division, taking of sides, and hatred of some abstract "other", imo, are the goal of the kleptocracy you've talked about. It's about distraction, so they can carry on with their plans as unhindered as possible. If you think Trump is above that kind of thing, well, anyway. In 2016, we had to choose between a sociopath and a psychopath (which was which?). In 2020, we were given the choice between 2 morons (which was the less damaging one?).
Pretty interesting puppetry; it's just that more people are becoming aware of the actual story being told.
To this day, my right-wing friends think I'm a tree-hugging hippie freak type, while my left-wing friends think I'm a forgivable right-biased independently-minded Texan. I still don't know what to really tell them, but enjoy the convos enough at times! đ
'zup Kev?
I couldn't agree more with your point about division, and no, of course I don't see Trump as above that sort of thing. It's just that he's not as good at it as the people who formed-up to oppose him, and his outward divisiveness makes him an outsized target and an easy opportunity.
One talking-point that emerged during these years is that Trump went counter to "norms". Now, there's a kernel of truth to that, but can you spot the projection from the people saying it? Personally, I think the norm of looking the other way and tolerating the kleptocracy is one that deserved busting. I thought about the choices for '16 exactly in the way you describe, and would tell anyone who I thought might listen that there had never been a legitimate choice for President my entire life as a voter. I could even dig up a few forum posts from a few years back expressing that. It was always a choice between bad options, and '16 was the most extreme version of that.
But Trump grew on me in office, because of his anti war actions and coining the term "endless wars". You diggin' what's happening in Syria these days? The other reason I liked him was because he proved my sour opinion about trickle-down to be wrong, but the thing was, it wasn't even trickle-down, it was "America First". His economic numbers were undeniable, and the results of his actions went counter to the myth that we should continue to tolerate the deindustrialization of the U.S. His was the first term of office in decades that saw real wage growth in any group other than the top percentiles, and it was skewed disproportionately among minorities and women. The ends don't justify the means, but, in this case, the means are not as described by the corporatist media, and those ends, were quite significant.
These dialogs with you and farmer have helped me come to appreciate that I perhaps gave him more of a pass on his divisiveness than he might have warranted. I really was amused and had very low expectations in '17, and what I'd say is this: if you keep an open mind and listen to him, you might discern a measure of growth. He's still a sociopathic egomaniac (and I maintain that anyone at that level of politics will be the same), but if you can actually back up the grotesque and caricatured image of him - in today's words and deeds - as a hateful misogynistic racist, I'd be interested, 'cause that's not my perception of Trump '21, like, at all.
He just played into the constituency that would accept him AND enable him to avoid his fear.
Sure, I liked the anti-war actions, but never liked the anti-everything and everybody else that didn't support his inner drama. That includes whoever doesn't suck up to him, environment, water, etc. All else was/is expendable.
Imo, he is much more divisive and much much more self-serving and preserving than peeps at this level of politics. To go down his rabbit hole with him would be to play into a world of hurt that would pave the way for an ever-increasing need/degree of power in the hands of one person. I have lived in countries run by dictators and recognize the writing on the wall when peeps start rationalizing martial law. He is scared, as are most bullies, but he uses flying monkeys to take on the dirty tasks and blame. I have experienced the nuances of extreme narcissism up close and also recognize the signs that he doesn't give a shit about anything or anyone else. That's why I voted AGAINST him, knowing that Biden would not be the answer either. In the next 4 years, I hope that there will be more investigative press, more peeps not just blindly siding with a party, more peeps holding peeps in power responsible, more peeps acting responsibly.... and less room for this bully-take-all attitude that is gaining prominence in society at the expense of basic decency. I recognize that power attracts the corruptible and that hard democratically ordained stances need to be taken at times to counter perceived wrongs (past, present, and future), so it's an interesting dilemma.

I don't know nothing about that, but I have learned a shit ton about plumbing in the last two weeks. Yeah, I don't know much about that either. "Plumbing" you say? Please do tell... (Welcome... nice to see you back. It would take some time to tell, but let's just say that the 40+ years of hodge-podge plumbing fixes (on 30 units) all came to perfect "fruition" with a full week of unexpected sub-28F/-2C temperatures. Being without power for 4-5 days did not help. Luckily, we were equipped with off-the-grid living skills.

I don't know nothing about that, but I have learned a shit ton about plumbing in the last two weeks. .. oh well, hope it wasn't too bad guy. On the off chance this ever happens again in your lifetime, preparation is: valves are your friends, drain what you can and drip what you can't. At least you've got push-to-fits these days! Purddy good synopsis, but I did enjoy old school soldering.

Yes, I also meant to imply that previously. It could be one reason that introducing massive election fraud didn't really raise any eyebrows. Yes, well, the fact that Donny was so divisive, and that his term was so consequential, cuts both ways. The irregularities certainly raised many eyebrows, but anyone else paying any attention either deliberately looks away or unconsciously looks without seeing, precisely because of those consequences. I suspect Donny has spent his whole life running away from the dark passenger he has feared and, having reached the degree of world power that he has, he is now going to run into himself. Could get interesting. Let's see what happens.

Notice the duality of subject/object that must be truly believed in order for the blame to "real". There is no self to see, nor place one needs to be put in. The blame arises and falls away, unless one overthinks and keeps the dynamic held close by the gravity of the importance one is unconsciously giving to it. If blame arises means there is still underlying belief that someone has done something wrong. It may fall but still I find the problem in it no matter how long it sustains. If it arises for you, then come and join in my team. Mind is conditioned, so yeah, stuff like blame will continue to arise and you won't magically forget everything that has happened and/or not have feelings play out. Beliefs will continue to play out on the screen. Doesn't make them true. But, you can join the dualistic dream drama, if desired, still knowing it is not truth and KNOWING Truth as it is.

What YOU actually are IS the "salvation" from what you think you are. That's why it's called the "little self"... someNothing can't be thought, but can notice. I am the ultimate witness of this movie, tell whether I have identified myself correctly? Identifying is a mind activity. Mind doesn't know. Mind can't know.

In 2005, Matthew Sheffield launched what would become one of the preeminent conservative websites devoted to calling out liberal bias in the mainstream media.
Over the last decade, however, Sheffield â who founded NewsBusters with his brother Greg and worked there until 2014 â has come to believe that he was part of a problem, not a solution, and is now working to correct that error. The problem, as he describes it, is that most conservatives think the purpose of journalism is to wage partisan political warfare, and that has created an ecosystem on the right where facts and truth are increasingly irrelevant.
In a recent Twitter thread, Sheffield wrote that he âwas part of a decades-long tradition of complaining about media elites being âunfairâ to conservative views.â
After Sheffield went to work at the Washington Examiner, where he was the newspaperâs first online editor, he says he realized that âU.S. conservatives do not understand the purpose of journalism.â
âTruth for conservative journalists is anything that harms âthe left.â It doesnât even have to be a fact,â he wrote. âI eventually realized that most people who run right-dominated media outlets see it as their DUTY to be unfair and to favor Republicans because doing so would somehow counteract perceived liberal bias.â
Sheffield believes that much of the mainstream press doesnât write empathetically enough about most conservative voters. âThe tens of millions of people who vote Republican are not deplorable. They are misled,â he wrote. âAnd the mocking and tribalistic coverage that lefty media often engage in only makes things worse.â
âIf youâre not seeing what the other side has to say, then youâll miss stuff thatâs true and inconvenient. If you canât confront information thatâs inconvenient to you, then youâre not serious about the information,â he said. âYour opinions are not informed. They are ignorant. If you donât encounter information that makes you say, âHuh, maybe I was wrong about thatâ â if you never think that to yourself â youâre not doing it right.â
Seems like a projection to me. Most of the polling firms were way off in the Presidential race, but the two that aren't are showing a majority of Georgians think the election was illegitimate. The facts simply are what they are. Why isn't the mainstream media reporting any of this?

If you just see the sense blame arise and then fall away, knowing it is just a mind thingy, there's no control.
The rest of the story for explaining the "becoming", "forcing", "pulling", "subsiding", "riding the roller coaster", "suffering"... all such thoughts are drawing on, connecting with, and giving substance to the memories/conditioned thought structure about "blame" ..... AND... (notice this).... the SVP blaming another SVP or outside agency. All of that does not arise, except as an afterthought of how one used to think.
The one thing you can attend to is whether to believe any of the stuff mind is throwing up. Is the mind the master or the tool?
When I become conscious of blame, I automatically will be put into the place where I see myself as the controller of the blame(pushing myself leaving the blame). Notice the duality of subject/object that must be truly believed in order for the blame to "real". There is no self to see, nor place one needs to be put in. The blame arises and falls away, unless one overthinks and keeps the dynamic held close by the gravity of the importance one is unconsciously giving to it.

It sounds like you are wrestling with a conditioned pattern of thought (blame, as in putting the responsibility of something gone wrong) on to another human. It's a normal part of the drama, and very often it is part of a delusional flow of consciousness. Coming to terms with what blaming entails requires one to come to terms with duality, the illusion of the SVP, ... one's apparent happiness or anger being conditional upon all that is appearing. (Read that again.... the happiness/anger/blame... all appearing and a product of the conditioned mind in the flow of/as Consciousness).
Notice that when peeps can't blame some other peep, they blame life, God, circumstances, and so on, all of which are just conceptual ideas, AGAIN, born of the mind.
Even after "getting a glimpse", there is a momentum of such patterns of reaction and behavior that YES, as you have stated, you just recognize and let it fall away. This is a kind of unwinding of the psychological fear patterns associated with the amygdala of the brain. They are very powerful impulses, and sometimes even useful for the survival of the organism, but have made their way into the everyday interactions and peeps are freaked out scared because their feelings get hurt or they have been traumatized in some way. It can dissipate and be less of an issue, maybe none at all.
Yes, it's about being conscious.
Here's the crazy part; what YOU are is not caught in illusion. One's sense of just Being has been captured and fallen into the dream of being an identified SVP, with its conditioned senses of fear (which give birth to blame), and you're trying to wake up, trying to makes sense of it (yes, just like in the morning sometimes)..... but it's a very persistent illusion.
Experiment with anything. Here's an example...: Hold your daughter in your arms, smiling and allow her to slip into calm. Slowly ask her questions about herself that you're curious about while making eye contact with her. Sense how her world appears to her (how she's being conditioned); connect with that on an interpersonal and intrapersonal level (your own memories as a child). Keep looking into her eyes while relaxed, smiling, and communing with her sense of being. Sense (don't think or rationalize) what it is to be "her" looking at "you", "you" looking at "her".... there may be an insight into utter simplicity....sense what IT is to be "both" in the here and now. It's the dream in/as/of Consciousness. It's all good.
Pretty much makes sense! Perhaps the realization that you are talking has been missed here. May be I don't have any other way other than to wait! I suspect that you are driven by a compulsion "to know". That's the ripening of the fruit before it effortlessly falls.
