have been caught red-handed lying, like about the bat/pangolin interspecies love affair, Hunter's laptop, Trump mocking dead soldier's, Epstein's "suicide", and irate Cubans in the street 'cause there ain't enough jabs, for example. Thanks for keeping your list short. I can think of at least 10 other of your "greatest hits" you could have added. O me oh my.. the lengths people go thru to keep their fantasies alive

(4) The manufacturers, distributors and administrators of the vax have been granted sweeping and unprecedented immunity from civil liabilities that might arise from the effects of taking it. If they hadn't been given the waiver they wouldn't have taken the risk of producing it.. Besides, shielding corporations from harm is like a priority of the Republican party.. so don't try to use this as a mark against your adversaries Yes, what you say about the waiver/risk is true, but still, from the other end of the stick, if they don't have any risk, then there's less incentive for them to avoid injuring the people who take the jab. Your political comment is non-sequitar, and you've presented no counterfact to the point of a valid reason for vax hesitancy.

Dude. You're the one with the assertion that there's no good reason for anyone to not-jab. I've given you facts. You reply, with emotional opinions. Ain't just in my head, it's in yours, as well. I'm not emotional about this, you're barking up the wrong tree (and not the first time you've resorted to this fallacy btw) If you want I'll give you a quote wall with all of the emotion I referred to as it was happening. It was, primarily, scorn, and entangled with various ad-hominem. Just because you're not conscious of it doesn't mean it's not there.

Okey-dokey, well, then. Skipping #4 is willful ignorance of a 2nd fact from the list. I'll admit, (5) is my shakiest point - it's based on my casual reads from my news sources. I really don't have any reason to believe them any more than you have to believe yours other than yours have been caught red-handed lying, like about the bat/pangolin interspecies love affair, Hunter's laptop, Trump mocking dead soldier's, Epstein's "suicide", and irate Cubans in the street 'cause there ain't enough jabs, for example. If you want to do dueling sources on this one, I'm down. You go first. yours ?? You must see everything thru the 'us vs them' lens You made the statement that the jab is 90% effective, and I'm referring to the source of that, while I made the statement that there have been a significant % of new infections among the jabbed. Two opposing factual assertions. The sad face is indicative of more emotion, as is the appeal to the notion of "othering".

I could do the exact same thing with you. Humans are complex emotional creatures. Not to mention, language is blurry and imprecise.

I don't deny that I've injected emotion into the dialog, but the point is, unlike you, I've presented a set of facts in response to the idea that there is no valid reason to take the jab.

Man on the street: "because the release of liability given to Pharma by Congress has me nervous" Reporter: "no, really, why won't you take it?"

No vaccine, huh? Cool, you're fired, get lost. Can't fly.. can't take a cruise.. whatever. Cool cool, serves 'em right, hehe. Can't buy food?....whatever....serves 'em right How do you think the holocaust came to pass? It didn't begin with murder did it. It began with beliefs, fear and paranoia. It began with segregation. It began with decent citizens being manipulated by propaganda into believing that Jewish folks were 'unclean', a 'threat to society'. It began with Germans being encouraged to ditch their Jewish friends, with Jewish folks being banned from shops. One definition of fascism is 'the exaltation of national values over individual rights'. In this case, the 'national value' that is being exalted is 'health security'. In your battle in the last few years against Trump, you have become what you were fighting against. If your vaccine works, you have nothing to worry about. If it doesn't work, why do you want other people to have it.
