Trying or intending to change something though, does not always mean you are 'resisting' current conditions. For example, if you have a headache and pop a pill with intent to make it go away, does that necessarily mean the headache will persist? That's the one time action, you are not repeating again and again. If you meet up with road which forks on two path, then you take one, It's a one time decision. So if you embark upon a plan, lets say a special diet, with intent to eradicate or lessen the occurrence of headaches, that's when you say you are ensuring that you will continue to experience more headaches? If so, there's all sorts of anecdotal experiences you could read about, that defy that assertion. What I see you having done, is looked to your own experience of ongoing trying/intending to change appearing circumstance and then to the continuation or even escalation of that appearing circumstance, to declare that the action/intent towards change, "Caused" the continuation of the condition. And then you've extrapolated that personal experience to say that this is how it is for everyone, (if there are in fact, others) thus, you admonish folks to stop trying/acting towards a change of condition. Fundamental resistance to 'what is' does indeed seem to anchor in more of what is being resisted, but you're not going to get a clear view of what's actually going on there, by looking to the content itself, and at it all as a 'cause/effect' equation. Where there is fundamental resistance, you are looking through eyes that can only see separation and limitation. The same circumstance will look very different to one who is operating under those illusions vs. one who is not. Even something like a headache, is going to be regarded differently. One who stands in fundamental resistance to happenings that are not on their 'preferred' list, is going to experience a headache as something having gone fundamentally wrong, whereas one who has no fundamental resistance will merely regard it as an ephemeral appearance that is entirely temporary in nature, thus, nothing to get bent out of shape over. and really, it's THAT absence of resistance that makes for a general contentment regarding all of experience, regardless of what is specifically happening in experience. From that place, you still 'care' about what's happening to some degree, but you no longer 'need' for things to conform to your highest preferences and ideals. There is contentment regardless.

Good pill point. In fact, the expectation it WILL go away is so powerful that it may begin to do so even before the pill is actually taken. I will definitely agree with you here. But I am not sure whether you are saying you can will anything and confirming with the belief that it's going to happen will happen that way? The idea of 'personally willing something into appearance' is misconceived. It's when personal intent aligns with 'Universal will' (for lack of a better term) that you will begin to see ideas/intents/interests easily and effortlessly evolving into materialization. But again, this is not actually a 'cause/effect' equation, it just looks that way on the surface of things. For anyone truly interested in what's up with the whole "Law of Attraction" dealy, I say, spend some time looking deeply into your highest values, deepest intents, what you desire and why you desire it. That's where the gold lies. That's where you will come to see whether you are engaging ideas of separation, limitation, and it's those illusions that need to be seen through before the unfolding of life will become 'effortless.' And really, that's what we're all after, even though it seems like we're after specific circumstances and things.

Yes, the same situation that needs changing can be a source of suffering for one person but contentment remains for another.

I am not sure whether I am understanding you. Are you saying you can expect anything and believe that it is going to happen would cause it to happen? (I am finding very tough situation to form the English lines now, so bear with me if you are not able to make sense of what I write, I will write it again with different lines if you find trouble understanding what I am writing.) Isn't that, in fact, what happens almost all the time. What you believe and expect to happen? It's also true that we tend to believe and expect what we experience. The two together are the stabilizing influence for our experience in the face of infinite potential. Resisting what is happening tends to confirm that you expect and believe it will happen, otherwise you would not be resisting it. So you meant to say I have seen the truth of resisting persist. And this knowing again seems to be creative and confirming my experience again?

You can't will anything. You don't have volition. We're just talking about expectation and belief, which you don't control. ok

All That Is is doing it's Job, nothing else exist. What I am saying is, If you expectation is confirmed with evidence which leads to the belief in you so strong then surely it will happen, because unfolding universe is moving towards that probable line.

There are two ways to approach change; You can fearfully resist what IS, or you can joyfully embrace what could be. The former is not aligned with creation, the latter is.
