Maybe what we actually have on the forum is a bunch of mystics who just think they're Self Realized. This idea has been dawning on me more and more recently. It seems to require a pretty decent amount of changing the meaning of words, too, which I can appreciate to a certain degree. But, it's also quite easy to say, "Yeah, that's pretty much the same thing as I mean by "....", but I tend to see it as "...." or whatever. Onward through the mystical fog. The experience of Awareness is the exact same experience for everyone. In fact it is the only experience that is.

I’m experiencing the feeling and the thoughts that we likely use the word “experience” differently. Would you say there’s an experience of Awareness or experience happens within Awareness or ..... ?

Experience however defined, is what we are Aware of. So being aware of being aware, is an experience. It is the very important difference between intellectualizing Awareness and actualling experiencing it.

Does that mean that experience does at times have the ability to compel you to take form/shape of an entity that suffers? The power is always yours, but that doesn't mean identity filled perceptions won't arise and tempt you to come out and play. ...An interesting way of phrasing things. Sorta like...?

...An interesting way of phrasing things. Sorta like...? No, because once you've tasted the freedom that you are, limitation no matter how tasty just doesn't satisfy. Not true. Everything satisfies. Do you think it would make sense if you were Self-realized and you weren't satisfied with what was happening? The self-satisfaction of realization is all pervasive.

That which comes and goes, obviously isn't satisfying. Limitation, obviously isn't satisfying. Sickness and death, obviously isn't satisfying. Awakening to the truth of what we truly are, is so incredibly far beyond the human concept of satisfaction, that it would be ridiculous to compare them.

Right, so you’re saying that Awareness turned back on itself can reveal the unchanging truth, yes? Awareness cannot turn attention around to focus it's light on itself, in the same way it directs attention to focus on objects of experience. This is obvious if you try to focus your attention on Awareness because Awareness is not an object.
