Once rumours like this emerge it's usually the case that there is some truth to it. You can see this with past cases. The first reaction from the accused or spokesperson of the accused is often to claim that there is a small group of disgruntled and disaffected individuals who are making false claims. They have their own agenda for some undefined reason and that can obviously sound convincing if it comes from someone you think is God.
The other observation is that you will see a huge majority of supporters proclaiming their love for Mooji on facebook whilst a minority are being critical. This makes it look as if the majority are telling the truth, but you have to remember the majority are those who have just watched YouTube videos and who wouldn't obviously see any abuse on public display on that platform and there are those who have attended satsangs who just drifted in and out for a few days and would be unlikely to see anything behind the scenes. So these first reports will come from the core group who are part of Mooji's entourage.
I'm just speculating of course but in any case time will tell. Perhaps westerners have a distorted view of what can go wrong. In India, the land of the Veda, there are hundreds of fake gurus and there have been throughout history.
I had a conversation the other day on Facebook with someone who is heavily invested in Mooji who strongly reacted to these reports and I said to him, I hope you can separate the person from the timeless teaching that he doesn't own but which he propagates.

Sounds about right, especially how it's really just idle gossip and speculation amongst us internet people who never go to those places. That said and acknowledged, it's a tricky question what level of ethics someone like Mooji owes his followers, but the murk can clear up out at the extremes. I really don't perceive those extreme's here from what they're saying, but then again, I wasn't there, so I don't know. Mooji's guilt by indirect association with Cohen doesn't help. It's notable to me how Cohen was never accused of direct "sexual misconduct" himself, but the alleged psychological abuses were so extreme as to precipitate the internal rebellion.
Ultimately, people are always gonna' be people. Maybe some are more saintlike than other's, but as that's all relative, how can it ever not be a matter of degree? Also, I'd say, that while some of the gossip wolves that tear at the guru's gown might be deeply unconscious, toppling the icons might be an opportunity for some of the sheeple to look for their own inner authority.
