For Tenka (and others who may be having trouble with the reference to waking reality as a 'dream,'....Richard Sylvester explains what we've been talking about in a really concise, easy to grasp manner...he also speaks to the issue of real vs. unreal, very nicely imo).

For Tenka (and others who may be having trouble with the reference to waking reality as a 'dream,'....Richard Sylvester explains what we've been talking about in a really concise, easy to grasp manner...he also speaks to the issue of real vs. unreal, very nicely imo). Cool video. Simple. Thanks. Adyashanti on the simplicity of it all Step out of the dream of your concepts and ideas. Step out of the dream of what you imagine enlightenment to be. Step out of the dream of who you think you are. Step out of the dream of everything you have ever known. Step out of your dream of being a deluded person. Stop telling yourself those lies and dreaming those dreams. Step out of all of that. You can do it. Nothing is holding you back. There are no requirements and no prerequisites to awaken. There is nothing to be done, nothing to think, nowhere to go. Just stop all dreaming. Stop all doing. Stop all excuses. Just stop and be still. Effortlessly be still. Grace will do the rest. ~ Adyashanti The joke of it all is that you are looking from your true nature right now without knowing it. If you would stop being fascinated with the contents of your mind, you would experience what I am saying. Feel your way into what I am saying rather than thinking about it. Only a self-concept looks and longs for God. Drop your self-concept and there is only God meeting God. Enlightenment is the restoration of cosmic humor. ~ Adyashanti You see, it's all a creation of the mind, an endless movie, a terrible dream. Don't try to change the dream, because trying to change it is just another movement in the dream. Look at the dream. Be aware of the dream. That awareness is It. Become more interested in the awareness of the dream than in the dream itself. What is that awareness? Who is that awareness? Don't go spouting out an answer, just be the answer. Be It. ~ Adyashanti Awesome quotes Rowan...thanks. This stood out: "Don't try to change the dream, because trying to change it is just another movement in the dream. be aware of the dream. That awareness is it...." Nice.

Great explanation of the difference between frustration/irritation vs. outright anger. I toadally agree.
I chose to post it in this thread because when life is seen as the equivalent of a dream, some degree of frustration can indeed at times continue to arise, but the kinds of judgements about appearing others, appearing circumstance just no longer goes deep enough for actual 'anger' to take hold.
Once 'fundamental' wrongness has been seen through, judgements don't extend beyond the surface appearance of things. Thus, there is no laying of actual blame, no designation that this or that 'should not' have happened. It would be pretty crazy for one who knows the other to be a mere appearance in his dream/story, to then go on to lay blame and responsibility upon that appearance.
