.. talk to a devoted Christian about SR, I'll explain it as a way that someone comes to open their heart to receive Christ. That's of course leaving out quite a bit, but the point would be to state it in terms they might relate to.  |

No doubt about it, for the sheer sake of discussing SR with someone who is not SR, meeting them precisely where they stand does seem to be a good idea, but in the end, actual understanding of what yer gittin at is still going to be beyond reach so long as actual SR has not happened there. While the Christ idea/story might serve as a lead-in, ultimately, it's an idea that's gonna have to be seen through...a little bit like trying to lure a kid into the dentists chair with candy.  |
