No I know what misconception means. I was simply wondering why you though reincarnation is a misconceptiom  Door #1: what is it that reincarnates? Everything you sense, think or feel is ephemeral, temporary. And every eternal moment is an exquisitely unique arrangement of a finite but unimaginably vast field of energy that is constantly shifting, never to repeat in exactly the same way twice. Sure, there are patterns and cycles, and patterns of cycles .. but the apparent continuity of personal perspective is a material convenience that has nothing to do with what you really are, and is always ever just a trick of the light show. It is as misconceived though to say that you are certain that reincarnation is not the case, or that it couldn't happen, as it is to say you are certain it is the case. It is entirely possible that the apparent continuity of experience extends beyond the experience of bodily death and what we understand to be 'physical reality.' |

If you're willing to let that word go, I'd agree. If we take that dictionary definition of 'incarnate,' the very idea that human flesh/form has 'spirit' (consciousness) 'in' it, involves a misconception. Form arises/appears 'within/to' consciousness, not the other way around. It does indeed appear that conscious awareness arises 'within' and 'dependent upon' the human and animal form, but that can be realized to be an illusion. If those forms do appear hand in hand with direct perception/experience, (which remains unknown) what can be known via realization, is that the appearing body is not the source/cause/catalyst to that, but rather, the body itself a perception, arising within/to consciousness. Things do not give rise to or Source consciousness....awareness. |

Pluto, the Garden of Eden
God was creating the perfect machine, man. He wanted this piece of equipment to be the darling of his kingdom in Eden (Pluto). God gave it a name, Adam. From his rib, an auxiliary machine came forth, Eve. God saw, they were good. Until a pesky fly, Lucy, alighted on their favorite food, Apple . It carried an element, Carbon.
You see Adam and Eve were made from radioactive Plutonium. When the particle Carbon entered into them, Adam and Eve started to decay and became covered with flesh. God teleported the corrupted machines, Adam and Eve ( or else they die), from Eden (Pluto) to planet Earth.
To create, Adam and Eve do SEX, the act of producing other machines. 1st came Cain and another, Abel. From here all the others e. g. cats, dogs, giraffes, frogs were made.
