q/herbert, am going to address this to you as your latest post aptly demonstrates that you are entertaining a misconception re: the ways in which SR "impacts experience."
I think it's a very common for seekers to hear "All perceivables...all appearance is empty and devoid of it's own inherent existence....it's all a play....a dream....a story...appearance only, absent Absolute, abiding-ness," and to imagine that that means there is no longer any caring about/interest in what appears.
It's true, the depth of judgment/caring/concern now, only goes so deep. In the realization of the inherent emptiness, there is no longer any condemnation that extends to the fundamental level, that gets applied to what appears, but that does not mean that everything that appears and every person/thing that appears is 'liked' or cared about equally.
Liking this and not liking that, is a facet of experience that remains even after the seeing through of inherent existence re: all that appears. Those judgments that come hand in hand with the appearing me character, are themselves appearance only.
This silly idea that is somehow illogical to continue to engage with what appears in a way that evokes surface judgments and opinions is itself "illogical." It reflects a gross misunderstanding of what the experiential ramifications of awakening really are.

Such a perfect quote to describe the "acceptance" that accompanies awakening..what it is...what it is not. Far too many folks mistake that "acceptance", which is fundamental, for surface "liking/wanting" of a particular condition, perceivable. Likes/dislikes continue to arise within experience post SR/awakening, and even the arising of those polarities, is fundamentally accepted. What does not continue to arise is a depth of response to what appears that enters into fundamental condemnation/judgment of wrongness.

The thing is though SDP, SR/awakening impacts all those "in the dream" ideas about "using personal volition to become a better, more pure, person."
You're on a forum that is at one time anyway, was dedicated to Truth/SR, intent on talking about "Personal self development/attainment of a higher state of being," but Nonduality drastically shifts the mind-set behind all those erroneous ideas and intentions towards to attainment/self-betterment.
When it's realized that there is no volition, no doer, no causal path, no "other" time-line or "other" story than what presently IS, all of those intents and interests that you continue to post about, dissolve along with those erroneous, false ideas.

The reason your view, expressed on a forum mostly dedicated to Nonduality is pooped upon, is not because it's "difficult," but rather because it's erroneous/delusional. You are imagining separation and propping up that delusion/illusion with all your expressed ideas.
