General Guidelines For Particpation

The more you respond to me the more you reveal your true character.

In keeping with this original guideline and welcome, I thought this was a good place to post this....no rules comes with it, but I think it serves as a good reminder as the difference between civil, impersonal debate, vs. debate that's riddled with ego and anger....kind of nice to have it in a chart like this;

Ah, so a step up from Reefs "extreme" censorship, all the way to "uber" censorship!

So, I've had several inquiries as to what went down with Krsna/Melvin...figure likely best to just explain here so I don't have to keep explaining singularly.

Way back when he was posting in the main/general section, I had to keep reminding him to stay on topic, that this was primarily a Nonduality forum and if he was intent on writing text wall after text wall dedicated to his religious beliefs, I'd prefer he found another forum to write on.

After a bit of back & forth then, I decided to compromise and created a singular thread in the sub-forum for him...told him so long as he stuck to that, to have at it. Slowly, he started branching out with his posts, creating new threads for himself...I did notice, but chose to let it go.

It only recently came to my attention that for some time now, he's been using a chat-bot and posting mainly computer generated posts, as well as posting all sorts of material from the internet, and not attributing source/author.

Some may have observed a few days ago, as we went back and forth for a few posts where I stated the rules, (no more chat-bot material, and he must indicate source of material he's posting)... he argued against that... I told him my way or the highway....he kept arguing, and the rest is history.




This is one of the instances where the old adage, "no good deed goes unpunished," seemingly applies...lol....figured I'd err on the side of kindness, and let him do his thing even though it really did not fit here...& even though that dude has consistently been disrespectful in many ways....lets just say, it won't happen again where he's concerned.
