A little 'less angry' might be a more attainable goal...?

There is nothing that arises/appears in experience that gets 'close to' Oneness. The realization of Oneness is completely and fully 'beyond' the story...beyond the experiential. You're not going to apprehend Truth through the experiential.
If you're looking for Truth, you gotta get outta the story. I find it very odd how folks on ST seem to be far more interested these days in putting lipstick on a pig, delineating the best dog and pony show, than they are in seeing through it all to what is actually so.

Waking up to the consensus trance, moving from an intellectual center to a body center, is all fine and good, but it's important to note that it is not the equivalent of waking up to the dream/story. I see folks conflating the two.
The body and all it's senses are after all, but appearing facets within the dream/story.
Important to see; Attention fully focused upon an activity does not cause clarity, never mind the the clarity that equals true awakening. In true awakening, all activity itself, is seen as part and parcel of the dream/story, an appearance, and what rises to the forefront, taking predominance, is Being/Awareness itself.

It's an expression that speaks to this whole issue (post above) of 'pointing vs. conceptualizing.' It's a means of pointing mind away from the entire realm of ideas and things to looking/seeing from a place that is beyond. It's a reminder that nothing that appears is Truthy. That Truth lies beyond the realm of form, beyond appearances. Throughout the 'not knowing' conversation, a few of you were being invited to "Kill the Buddha"...your "Buddha" that required killing..? The certain knowing that appearances are alive, conscious, experiencing. Some of those Buddhas can get pretty darned sticky indeed. A wonderful line of inquiry involves looking deeply at those ideas/concepts/knowings that we are unwilling to let go of. Bump.

For those who take issue with referencing life/the world as akin to "a dream," it's important to see precisely what IS being said, and what is not being said.
What is NOT being said:
Life is meaningless, un-inspiring, the world is dead, experience is deadened, boring, lifeless, flat, perceivables are not worth engaging because they are mere appearance. Nothing seems real anymore....it all seems fuzzy.....ill defined....impossible to care about anymore.
What is being said in "life is akin to a dream": Life/the world gets seen in a new light when attachments cease, when identification with perceivables ends. Seeing the world in that new light, while it does reframe 'meaning,' does not equal the end of finding life and it's content meaningful, it does not mean experiencing the world as deadened, boring or lacking in life, vitality, vividness. It just means that I am no longer a slave to it all...lost to it all....no longer caught up in the slumber of belief I am a separate thing/someone, arising within an independently existent world, causing things to happen through my own free will, volitional choosing.
When life becomes akin to a dream, if anything, you fall even deeper in love with it all.....are more than ever in awe, as you are seeing so clearly that 'something' IS miraculously appearing out of nothing.

Yup, another strange assumption seems to be that if it is all 'dream-like' there's no longer any basis for empathy, caring about the dream-characters.

Ironically, the truth of the matter is, you are what I am. Your thoughts are my thoughts. Your pain is my pain. Such intimacy is how Love expresses when it is free to do so.
