Okay…. Earlier this year, I sent a Jimmy Ballard golf video set of links to some friends of mine on the board (farmer, laughter, and fig's husband) without realizing the set of individual video links was not complete. There was one video missing. The missing video was about “Springing the shaft”, and why “springing the shaft” is superior to “pulling the shaft” on the downswing, which is a very important part of how he teaches the golf swing. So, to those of you whom I sent the video link set to, I apologize. You’ve probably been “Pulling the shaft” all season long, when you could have been “Springing the shaft”, and having a whole lot more fun. My bad. Here's the missing link, which somehow managed to find me.

Here's the missing link, which somehow managed to find me. Such risque explorations should probly be done by private mail. Well, if the shaft is being pulled all season long one is definitely not familiar with a golf swing, and they're NOT having very much fun. I mean, if you're a right-handed golfer, it's a right-handed game. If you're a left-handed golfer, same same. Centrifugal force is created from the ground up, not by pulling the shaft at the ball. The purpose of the left arm for a right handed player is to maintain the radius of the swing. If one is pulling the left arm at the ball, they're not having much fun playing, that's for sure. Same thing in baseball. One doesn't pull the bat at the ball. It starts from the ground up. The swings are identical for a baseball player, and a golfer. They're just on different planes. Ask a good hockey player if he pulls the shaft of his stick at the puck. He'll give you a strange look...Like it or not, golf IS a funny game. Lots and lots of paradoxes.... Ever try to re-start a car with a clutch on the road when there are no battery jump start cables to be found? I wouldn't recommend typing a rope to the front axle and pulling on it to get it moving so the driver can pop the clutch, either...

Kinda rez with this one from Deepak...
We do not experience a physical body or world . We experience a narrow bandwith of perceptual activity & construct the idea of a physical body and world. In reality there is neither body nor world. There is only consciousness knowing itself as perceptual and mental activity. ~Deepak Chopra

The majority of what we call 'the world,' or 'my life,' is comprised of assumption and conclusion. Beyond that 'narrow bandwith' mind fills in many blanks. Seeing that is important.

To piggy-back upon this: There really isn't an actual 'who.' The experience of a someone, either direct or indirect only becomes a full out 'manifestation' of 'someone,' if/when mind fills in those blanks I was talking about. Again, important to see surmising, assuming, concluding where it happens. It happens a lot in the course of everyday experience.
