That's what I am saying you are saying. It's that way not because you want it that way. Belief is not the same as desire. A parrott is a parrott plucked or NOT!

Maybe finding humor in condescending belligerence isn't really a good thing either. Would there be a way of preventing that from happening again in the future if you convince me my reaction wasn't a good thing? Perhaps some of that mind purification and clarity to see through illusions that you speak about would help. Preventing what from happening? The ST forum went through a positive evolution recently, and I was pleased to find that the spin-off forum was pretty much following suit, but apparently it was temporary in both cases. It seems the anger and (okay, I'll use the word too) self righteousness of some of the members is too intractable. In any case, I won't be playing in the way I have. I'm tired of it and I'm fine if all of them pass away quietly in their sleep like Ishi.

Belief is not the same as desire. So is it a Belief or desire that makes gravity works? I'm saying it's that way because we want it that way. You would not want gravity to come and go and change. It would be terrifying. You would not want a day to last a week or a season to last a month. Why do you think it all is the way it is?

Let us assume you are right, If it is so then I must be wanting the same in my dream as well, right? Why it is not the case? Why can I defy the gravity in my nighty dream?

If you're tired of it then stop making self righteous comments like "Maybe finding humor in condescending belligerence isn't really a good thing either," because I was tickled by ishi's comment dismissing you. You take yourself far too seriously. Moderate your arrogance and all will be well.

Satch: It made me laugh which can't be a bad thing Gopal: Ok satch!
Enigma: Maybe finding humor in condescending belligerence isn't really a good thing either.
(Fawning puppy dog enters the room)
Gopal: Exactly
You are a weak and compliant character gopal.

There's a deep cultural meme centered around flying like a bird, Superman, the freedom of flight, and such, so lots of peeps have dreams of flying. If someone has a dream about gravity randomly coming and going and changing, it would usually be called a nightmare. Flapping your arms and flying is freedom. Trees uprooting and buildings flopping over is terror.

I don't know where you find arrogance and self righteousness. Well, actually, I do, but it would sound terribly arrogant and self righteous to say it. I don't even know what I said to Ishi to set him off. That's how seriously I take myself. Maybe it's others who are taking me too seriously.
